Learn Spanish While Traveling
One of the most effective methods to learn Spanish is to actually visit Latin America to immerse yourself in the language and culture. It’s possible to gain fluency over a 4-month time-frame while attending language school.
Before leaving, you could take online Spanish lessons to get a grounding in the basics before you go. Then plan a trip taking in a variety of cities in Peru, Chile, and Argentina.
Maybe the number one city to start with is Lima, Peru since the Spanish spoken there is one of the easier ones for a beginner to follow. After this, check out Santiago which is a big metropolis with great night life and it’s near to renowned vinyards, so be sure to check out the wine. Near to this there is also the resort of Viña del Mar which has some golden beaches.
After Chile, you can visit Argentina. I suggest Mendoza to start with which is up in the Andes mountains. You can relax or enjoy horseback riding, mountain biking or hiking through the glorious natural parks.
And don’t forget to visit Buenos Aires where you can have a go at dancing the tango. Then there is the wonderful architecture to take in and take photos of.
At this stage in your trip you will likely have a desire to revisit some of your favorite places. So you can continue studying for the remainder of your trip.
When travelling, aim to the amount of your baggage to as little as possible. With the cheap cost of laundry in latin America you shouldn’t need to pack so many clothes.
And by studying at language classes along the way, you are going to find instant friends to have a great time.
